Secure Ordering At Medisafe Direct we like to be clear about the information we collect about our customers, what we do with it and how we keep it secure. Your Order
When you place your order you are automatically connected to our secure servers using SSL 128 bit encryption. A picture of a closed padlock will show in your browser status bar. This means that your details are fully encrypted (security coded), and remain secure across the Internet and after they reach our order processing centre. How Do We Protect Customer Information?
When you submit your credit card details at the checkout, the information will be encrypted before leaving your computer. This information will remain encrypted until it is received by our secure server at which stage the information you have provided will be verified. A confirmation that your order has been received safely will be displayed on your screen a few moments later. You will also be e-mailed an order confirmation after further processing. Your Details
You should be aware of a number of vital points regarding your details. Medisafe Direct never passes on any payment or transaction details. We only pass on any of your address details with your permission and to selected third-party companies. For full security our automatic transaction system does not retain credit card details. Once you have made a payment to us your card details are not stored in any records. The card details have to be taken again each time you make a purchase. When you register with Medisafe Direct we will collect your e-mail address. We may subsequently keep a record of which products and services you are interested in. We also monitor traffic patterns and site use. If you do not want to be contacted by us by telephone, or to receive any information from ourselves or external companies please uncheck the box in the registration section when you register. If you don't uncheck the box but decide later that you don't want to receive any more information, just let us know. From time to time, carefully selected companies that we have chosen may also wish to send you offers, which may be of interest to you. These will only be sent if you have agreed when you registered for Medisafe Direct. Cookies
We do use 'Cookies' which are small pieces of information that are stored on your computer's hard drive by your browser. These allow Medisafe Direct to recognise you and provide features to make your use of the Site easier. Most browsers allow the cookie function to be turned off.
